I went to a screening of ” The Intern” the story was touching and heartwarming. It is a chick flick, and Robert DE Niro is fantastic in this film. He plays a man who loses his wife, is lonely and bored and decides he wants to become an “Intern” as a way to stay busy. He ends up bonding with the owner of a fashion tech site, and the two become very close friends.
I loved this film. I had a great time but as someone who owns a site I found the premise very unbelievable.
Robert De Niro is perfection. Seeing him in this role was very special. It is a feel good film with heart and very entertaining.
One thing I wish is that companies would hire 70-year-olds and older people. Older people have experience, wisdom and should not be thrown away after 50.
