Falsettos.

Falsettos consists of two one-act musicals that premiered separately Off-Broadway:  March of the Falsettos (1981),  and Falsettoland (1990)

This is my first time seeing Falsettos, and I never got to see either of the other shows Off-Broadway. This wonderful revival by William Finn is a must see. The music is beautiful, and the incredible acting chops from the entire cast are not to be missed, especially if you love Christian Borle’s incredible singing voice. Stephanie Block is both hilarious and in glorious voice.

The first play is fun and comedic and the second one will make everyone cry, especially if you lost a lover or friend during the 80’s. It brings back all of the sad memories and like other plays about AIDS, It is a very upsetting topic that needs to be seen. In the second part, Andrew Rannells, plays Borle’s lover who gets sick with AIDS before anyone knew what AIDS was. The show is about family, love and loss.

Do not miss this truly magical musical. Bring tissues. Hurry. The show must close on January 8.
