THE TONY AWARDS
I was in one of the press rooms for The Tonys last night. To quote Hamilton I was in the room where it happens! Yes! You are not taking away my shot!
It took over 25 years to get there but I did it! I am always afraid to be late so I am usually very early. The press room opens at 2.45 I got there around 4.20 and was in a state of emotional euphoria. I was finally going to cover the Tonys from the press room. I was all the way to the side in the first row which made it tough to get good video and photos. A few rows back,gets better visibility but I was so grateful to be in any seat.
It was tough as when winners came to the room the show was heard with an ear piece and you had to go back and fourth taking videos and photos.

I love live theater more than anyone on the planet. The Tonys are the biggest night celebrating Broadway. I will watch the show and report more soon.
Congratulations to all the nominees and people that work round the clock to make this monumental event happen. I was very grateful to be there.
