I Had the best time at “American Utopia.” It is a one of a kind experience on Broadway.
I love the music of David Byrne. It is the best theatrical concert I have ever seen. I loved his music choices even if he left out “Psycho Killer.” After all, we are in a pandemic!
There is a giant cast which includes dancers and 9 others that play the music while dancing in bare feet.
I was dancing and had the time of my life. It is thrilling to see him on broadway. He,is funny, charming and the choreography, like the story, is quirky. He sang most of his hits I was not on the road to nowhere.
It was worth seeing especially if you love David Byrne and The Talking Heads. The show made me feel like I was a teenager again. It was a magical night and I am grateful I attended. Lucky seat has a lottery for $44.00. Go! It is a once in a lifetime event.
