Disney animation is perfection in the newest film Big Hero 6.
Review by Corine Cohen
First, see Big Hero 6 for the incredible short called FEAST about a very adorable terrier named Winston who saves his owners life and it is the sweetest short since Paperman which was last year or maybe the year before I can’t remember. The short is seen through Winston the dogs eyes. How he feels when he eats everything in sight and it shows all the different stages of life Winston has with his owner and all the food he eats. I was literally laughing out loud when i was watching it. It was worth the price of admission alone. It is such a sweet short film.
Big Hero 6, is about the relationship between two close brothers. Both brothers are brilliant. The oldest is in school buiding robots to save the world. The oldest brother builds a robot that is meant to help the sick and can scan your body and find out how you are feeling what is wrong with you etc. He can also carry a person and more. When his younger brother decides to try and win a scholarship to the school he invents a fantastic experiment which lands him in the gifted school. His Brother is killed in a fire and his brother decides he will improve his invention and help save the World.
This film is spectacular in every way. The relationship the boy builds with his robot is really adorable and I was very touched by the story, the special effects and everything about this film. It is a must see. I can’t imagine anyone not being moved by the beautiful film.
( PS When I broke my ankle and was having a hard time, this robot would have been a life saver. I hope one day I will be able to have a robot like this! He was not only a robot but a wonderful friend)
The movie opens today and it is a must see!. 3 out of 4 stars. Feast got 4 out of 4 stars.
