I saw the film tonight, and it is a must see. Do not miss it! A real story with heart. Hugh Jackman is fantastic. A must see film about determination when all odds are against you. This movie is based on a true story about Eddie, a smart, geeky kid that is determined to be in the Olympics. He was born with no athletic ability and as a child was frail and needed to wear metal braces to strengthen his legs. He is willing to do everything in his power to be in the Winter Olympics, and when his people(England) turn against him, Eddie is determined to win. This movie proves determination can overcome all obstacles.
Taron Egerton (Eddie The Eagle) takes the film to new heights and the film should melt your heart. A great family film for anyone with big dreams and has the desire to make those dreams a reality. Bring tissues.
See it. It is a real tear jerker and sweet. Never give up on your dreams!
