“CHICKEN & BISCUITS ” written by Douglas Lyons is a tasty play about a dysfunctional family.

The family are joined for the funeral of their Father and trying to get along without killing each other.

There is sibling rivalry, juicy secrets and spicy dialog in 100 minutes. It also has some talented  cast members. Norm Lewis plays a  dashing, married minister and Father of two children, one who kept his life in the closet and who is in love with a gay, white and Jewish actor played by Drama Desk winner  Michael Urie(Buyer and Cellar). Urie always has perfect comedic timing and is marvelous, As is Norm Lewis.

The play is funny, kooky and very entertaining.  It opens October 10th and is playing at Circle In The Square.

The show was touching, funny and zany!

I was laughing out loud.

The whole cast are excellent especially the meddling Niece Aigner Mizzelle who is a comedic genius. Impressive as it is her first Broadway

I had fun!
