I took two young girls to see Captain Underpants. They thought it was funny. They are 8 and 13. This film will appeal to young children, but I think it is a young boy film. I would take the kids to see this and take the girls to see Wonder Woman. I love animated films but this one has a lot of potty humor, and I was not the target audience. The children I took loved it!
