BROADWAY BY THE SEASON March 25th.

I did a podcast which for some strange reason was blocked so I will be writing a review as well.

I loved last night’s show Scott Siegel’s Broadway By The Season. It played years 1931 and 1932 in the first act. Danny Gardner sang and choreographed all the dance numbers and the show was very entertaining.  He opened the show with ‘ Life’s A Bowl Of Cherries’ from George White’s Scandals. He also did a tap number and it was very energetic!

Douglas Ladnier sang “WHO CARES’ from ‘Of Thee I Sing.’ Jenny Lee Stern sang ‘ You Made Me Love You.” It was as if she was channeling Betty Boop and in another song she had some heat with a piano.

Act 2 was 1942 and 1943 and the first song ‘Oh What A Beautiful Morning’ was sung beauifully by Douglas Ladnier.

Lisa Howard sang ‘ Hey Good Looking’ and had a dance with several male dancers who danced around her.

Scott Siegel has been doing these magical shows for many years and they are such a joy as the casts are superb singers and you wished the magic would never end.

Good theater and cabaret are a gift and it was such a magical night. I can’t wait to see his next one
