(New York City – July 2022) After 1,056,647 RIDERS, after 30,000 performances, after 619 rave reviews, after several coveted awards, after billions of on-board photos, countless heat waves, blizzards, hurricanes, traffic jams, New Year’s Eve Ball Drops, St. Patrick’s Day Parades, street fairs, protests, political conventions, proms, Broadway Openings, Film Premieres, Times Square events, naked cowboys, dance-offs, Mayors and flash mobs, THE RIDE has taken its fleet of motor coaches from experimental curiosities to ground-breaking events that have captured the awe and earned the respect of both the Entertainment and Travel Industries.
On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, THE RIDE will celebrate its 30,000th performance on board the 4:30pm RIDE.
While THE RIDE is currently negotiating for a major Far East version, Co-CEO/CCO Richard Humphrey will be on hand to welcome the 1,056,647th RIDER as they board the Broadway neighborhood’s iconic Experiential and Immersive theatre-on-wheels.
Mr. Humphrey will also be celebrating THE RIDE’S 11th Anniversary, his Drama Desk Award Nomination for Most Unique Theatrical Experience, his seven TripAdvisor® Excellence Awards and his sold-out, Post-Covid Re-launch.
Says Mr. Humphrey, “It was a long, long shutdown. Two weeks turned into two months turned into everybody turning in; but THE RIDE is now awake! Our goal is to create traveling theaters, and currently, the world’s only traveling virtual reality theater. We can run a Broadway show from our integrated technologies.
