‘Take Me Out’ is Richard Greenberg’s prolific play about a sexy hot baseball player who comes out and it exposes bigotry and racism.
Kippy is played by Broadway newcomer Patrick Adams who is charming on stage!
Jesse Tyler Ferguson a standout in everything he does, “Spelling Bee” as Coney Bear and most recently in “Fully Committed.” He plays Mason an investment advisor that Darren Lemming is given as a client when Darren announces to the World he is gay.
All kinds of ugliness prevails.
The show has some very revealing shower scenes that are not for children and Darren, played by Jesse Williams reveals more than great acting. He made me blush.
The show is magnificent. Leave the kiddies at home and go.
I expect many nominations for this show at award season. It is a must see.
