It is that time of year. The time when all the great movies are being screened for award season. It is too early to make predictions but some of my favorites are:
You all must see Hidden Figures when it opens. Octavia Spencer is sure to be nominated for Best Supporting actress and should win!
Moonlight: A very depressing but...
This movie is about an inner city child dealing with bullying and trying to survive in Miami. This brutal, sad and depressing film is a masterpiece but for mature audiences only. I predict it will be nominated for many awards this season. I found it very disturbing and was on the edge of my seat through the entire film.
