As a teen, I discovered ‘SQUEEZE’ on a teen tour in London. I have always adored English bands but “Squeeze” became my favorite of all time. I have seen them numerous times the first at the Pier in High school, Radio City, A secret concert in Bryant Park and numerous concerts at City Winery among other intimate settings.
Glenn was incredible everytime but last night was truly special. I took off my mask and felt like I was in High School and enjoyed when Glenn sang old school Squeeze “Its A Woman’s World,Black Coffee In Bed, Tempted, Hour Glass. All in pristine voice.
It was, complimented by the awesome food at City Winery. I had a poke bowl which was very healthy and excellent. My plus one had the chicken, springrolls and a margarita pizza which we shared. The food was magnificent but the concert was one that I will cherish for the rest of my days.See Glenn at 8.00 tonight at City Winery and get the pizza!
