The Niffler.
Dan Fogler who started his acting career in the original cast of Spelling Bee and won a Tony award for his performance should be considered for best supporting actor in Fantastic Beasts! Fogler has found the perfect role, ( He plays a baker that wants to open his own bakery)and you can tell he is having the time of his life in this film. His character applies for a,loan so he can open a bakery and is turned down for his loan as he has no collateral.
The film takes place in New York in 1926 and is by J.K Rowling who is known for her Harry Potter series. Eddie Redmayne plays Newt Scamander who is a Magizoologist and brings his bag of animals to 1926 New York and all hell breaks loose when some of his animals escape and create havoc. The cutest of these animals is a platypus looking creature called the Niffler who loves to steal shiny jewels and gold.
This film is a thrill ride if you love science fiction and you don’t have to love Harry Potter to be entertained by this film. ( I happen to adore all of the Harry Potter films And adored this film.) I don’t want to reveal too much of the story because it is better to go in not knowing and being surprised .
The film is, visually stunning. The special effects over the top and the film exceeds every expectation. Go and see this entertaining thrill ride and if you loved Dan Fogler in Bee, go to support him. I went twice!
