BROADWAY BY THE SEASON!

I have been covering most of Scott Siegel’s shows first at The Town Hall and now at Merkin Concert Hall. Town Hall was incredible but very large. Merkin Concert Hall makes the experience more intimate and magical.  Like seeing your favorite band in a pub in England over Radio City Music Hall.

I hope this series continues please donate if you can. This show talked about years, 1974 and 1975 in the first half and 2001, 2002 in the second. In the 70’s I was a child and didn’t see ‘MACK AND MABEL’ or ‘ WORDS AND MUSIC’ I did see ‘THE MAGIC SHOW’ AND ‘THE,WIZ’ in fact I went to the opening of THE WIZ and sat next to the Director who gave my Sister and I a back stage tour. I was interested in meeting Toto.

I thought the music choices were fabulous and the cast were fabulous. In act 2, I saw all the shows including Millie and Urinetown I was obsessed with both. Still am. I do wish Millie would return to Broadway but during this new woke world the themes might not fly. Broadway by the Season are entertaining and interesting nights for musical theater lovers. I hope there is another season at Merkin Concert Hall.
