I have seen Brian Stokes Mitchell in “Kiss Me Kate”, “The Man of La Mancha”, “Ragtime” and his Lincoln Center Restart concert. I also saw him sing at Marble Church over 15 years ago.
He happens to be one of the greatest voices of all time and he never stops taking my breathe away as his voice is perfection.
If you were lucky to see him perform at The Town Hall you were in for a treat and he got two standing ovations. One for his “Impossible Dream” and another for an unplugged song from “South Pacific.”
Brian Stokes Mitchell’s concerts are pure gold and I could listen to him sing all night.
Bravo to Seth and Brian for making beautiful memories during these trying times!
Spotted in the audience was Jennifer Westfeldt who I interviewed when she was in “Wonderful Town” with Donna Murphy. She was also recently in “Younger” with Sutton Foster.
I sat a few seats away from her at “Seared” starring Raul Esparza. She was lovely!
