My Love Of Forbidden Broadway.

I found out my love for Musical Theatre at age 3 when my parents took my family to The Paper Bag Players. I found my love and enjoyed it so much I didn’t want to leave. Since that day I have dedicated my life to the arts. One of my favorite shows,is Forbidden Broadway and I have seen every version in NYC but 2000 and the recent Don’t Tell Mama edition.

Today I saw Merrily We Stole A Song. It was very funny. Jenny Lee Stern is fabulous; Her Lupone is worth the price of admission alone! She also nails one of my favorites Taub from Suffs! The show has no intermission and was the fastest 90 minutes of my life. It is very funny. Seeing fabulous theater makes me happy. It was one of my favorite shows of this year.

If you love musical theatre do yourself a favor and see it. It was my second time and it was magnificent. The entire cast are brilliant but Stern’s Taub, Peters and Lupone had me howling.

I saw it a third time and it is even better. I heard it is closing in a few days so rush and see it. In my opinion, Forbidden is not mean spirited it is for people that adore Musicals. I sadly have not seen the Outsiders, Oh, Mary and the new Cabaret but the spoofs are wonderful.

Keep Marching. Sad it is closing November 3rd  I will miss my favorite off Broadway spoof fest.

I love Forbidden Broadway more than anyone on this planet.
