I first saw BIG with Tom Hanks in the film which really took Hanks to the next level. The show ran on Broadway in the late 90’s and sadly I missed it. This reading has a very talented cast. You don’t need big sets as the performers are fantastic and so is the music and lyrics. This show like the movie is charming and fun. I adored it. In fact it is probably one of the greatest readings I have seen at the York.
It is great to see Kerry Butler in a good musical. Her voice shines as does John Tartaglia. This reading is cute, funny and sweet.
