If you are into mind blowing special effects, Insurgent is the movie for you. Action, adventure, massive violence. Not for children.
The Divergent series takes place in Chicago 100 years in the future. Survivors are divided into five factions based on their strengths and abilities. Kate Winslet plays the brutal ruler, Jeanine, who is out to destroy all Divergent’s. Tris, (Shailene Woodley) Four (Theo James) realize they have to destroy her in order to save the entire race. They have great chemistry and it was great to see a woman portrayed as a strong hero. It is a very entertaining film. Great acting and special effects.
