The York has a new musical with incredible choreography by Joshua Bergasse, who is also the choreographer for ” On The Town” and the Bombshell musical that was a one night concert at 54 Below. His choreography in Cagney is very impressive, and it is worth seeing the show for this. Robert Creighton is an incredible dancer, and this show is a dance lovers dream. I am excited to report that this is a must see and with some fine tuning it could transfer to an Off-Broadway or Broadway house for an unlimited run.

It does need some cutting and work to take it to the next level but if you love tap, you must see this show at the York. It will be at the York until June 21st.  It is one of the strongest shows I have ever seen at the York.

The show is about the life of James Cagney, and it shows some history about his life. I have never seen any of Cagney’s films and this production made me want to learn about the tough tapper. I will check out some of his movies on Netflix. This show is Corine’s pick for incredible dancing and some great musical numbers. This show is a lot of fun and pure entertainment. A fun evening out. Music and lyrics by Robert Creighton and starring Robert Creighton. Impressive!
