I just came back from seeing Rick Skye not as MADAME but as Liza. You know, The Liza with a Z. And Tommy Femia plays Liza's Mama, the one with a J for Judy. The two cabaret icons take over the roles as if they are actually Liza and Judy. I live for impersonation and I have seen many talented performers play Liza with a Z. Rick Skye wrote some very funny material. My favorite number was Liza in Sex and The City 2 doing single ladies. If any of you have seen her part in that film where she dances to Single ladies this number will have you gasping for air. It was very funny,
Tommy Femia's touching moment was when he sang " Over The Rainbow" the performance of that song made me cry because it was spot on.
If you love Liza with a Z and her mama Judy Garland this revue is 90 minutes of laughter, fun, sadness and magic. It will hold you over until Forbidden Broadway returns.
Bravo to Rick Skye and Tommy Femia for this very entertaining show. I give them a standing ovation and you should too! Happy days are here again!
Rating of Show: 3.5 stars out of 4.
