MARIA-CHRISTINA OLIVERAS (Featured Soloist)

Maria-Christina Oliveras was most recently seen in Machinal on Broadway, starring Rebecca Hall, and directed by the critically-acclaimed director, Lyndsey Turner. She previously made her Broadway debut in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. Maria-Christina is thrilled to be continuing on theHere Lies Love journey, having been a part of its development since 2011. Selected Off-Broadway credits include the world premieres of: Here Lies Love (Public); Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson(Public); Reading Under the Influence (DR2); The Really Big Once (Target Margin); Slavey (Clubbed Thumb); And Miles To Go and After, both with Partial Comfort Productions, of which she is a member. Regionally, Maria-Christina has performed at Williamstown Theatre Festival, Huntington Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage, Denver Center, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Berkshire Theatre Festival, and Westport Country Playhouse, among others. Film projects include The Other Woman and St. Vincent De Van Nuys (both slated for April 2014 release), The Humbling, directed by Barry Levinson, starring Al Pacino, Ice, Clutter and Vamperifica. Television credits include “Nurse Jackie,” “Ugly Betty,” “Law and Order: CI and SVU” “Damages,” “NYC-22” and “Person of Interest.” Maria-Christina received her B.A. with honors from Yale University, where she also serves on Faculty, and her M.F.A. in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory. www.mariachristinaoliveras.com
